Before leaving Santiago bay, Lenard & I had a chance to explore the town of Santiago. Walking is the best way for exploring as well as taking the local buses. You can't beat six pesos each way. You also learn to take the right bus or else you'll find yourself on a scenic tour...

We thought this bus was going to the Santiago harbor but it didn't. The end of the line for this bus was in the Santiago valley. It was a nice scenic tour.

While Jim was Phoenix, Juanita took the bus from Barra to Santiago. She went with us to Punta Carrizal for 3 days. We snorkeled during the day and night. Had a bonfire on the beach. I caught some green jacks and had a fish fry. She brought the best and cheapest tequila yet in Mexico.
