Z- town to Bahia de Santiago: Don & Hetty

After spending almost a month in Zihuatanejo, it was time to head north. We had the pleasure to be accompanied by Don & Hetty. They are from Grabbriola Island, Canada. They arrived a day after Dave & Susan on February 4th, Thursday.  The night they arrived we met them for pizza at Pizzas Locas. You know, I've never had anchovies and olives before. Hetty loves fish and so do I. She recommended we have their anchovies and black olives pizza. Lenard did not recommend it because after all we were in Mexico where they say sausage on the pizza and you get sliced up hot dogs. However, we had 1/2 anchovies and pizza and 1/2 ranchera pizza. This pizza place has a forno. Needless to say, the pizza the was the best we've had in Mexico. Especially the anchovies & olive pizza.
Don & Hetty came on board the day after Superbowl. We spent Superbowl that evening with Don & Hetty at Chula Vista and watched the Green Bay Packers win! Lenard was rooting for the Steelers.

I was rooting for the Packers.
This was a better photo of Hetty with eyes open...
There was a local event going on this night not having to do with Superbowl
The next day in the evening Susan & Dave treated us to the best cheeseburger in Mexico. Let's just say we were all stuffed to the gills and did not eat until noon the next day.
We did go to the market to stock up for our trip to Manzanillo.
Our first stop was Caleta de Campos.

Today's catch - lobsters, halibut, sanddabs, & red snappers...

Lunch & cerveza break...

We had to walk off lunch and cervezas...

How refreshing...

A get together on the Midnight sun at Caleta de Campos.

Wonderful trip with our friends, Don & Hetty!  We miss you already - Dave, Susan, Don & Hetty.
