We spent three days San Sebastian. The first day we went snorkeling on the south end of the cove. After 45 minutes the current was getting stronger on the outside so we decided to head back. There were no other sailboats in the anchorage. However there were 4 30-footer powerboats side-tied to one another. They gave us a filet of red snapper and yellowtail. We had the snapper that night but threw the yellowtail over because it had a fishy smell.
The next day we snorkel the north end on the outside Lenard speared a hawkfish.
The hawkfish had milky white filets. It was very good. I love eating fish. When we go spearfishing, we try to target different types of fish. This is the only way we can try different kinds.
When Lenard tires of eating fish, we do have frozen chicken and beef.
On occasion we harvest scallops, clams or lobster.
Lenard maintaining the winches. I'm cooking beans in our solar oven.
Lenard chatting it up with the locals. This is the first place we have been that the residents use solar panels to power their house.
There are plenty of doves and quails to shoot for food as long as you don't get caught. You need a license to hunt.
Lenard pointing at all the doves and quails he sees.
