Bahia Aqua Verde - 25º31’N., 111º05’W

One of my favorite anchorages. It is centrally located, about 90 miles NW of La Paz and 100 miles SE of Mulege.

There must have been 20+ boats at one time in this anchorage. Most of them on their way to Loreto Fest. We stayed here almost a week. Midnight sun was swimming distance from the beach anchored at 11 ft. Swam to shore everyday. Water was 79 degrees. The almost crystal clear as if you're swimming in a pool.

Great snorkeling.
Seafood galore - clams, clams, more clams, triggerfishes, groupers, snappers, some type of perch, parrotfish, hogfish and other types that I could not identify.
Reef fish -different types of angelfish, green morays, needlefishes, sargeant majors, octupi, a variety of starfish and more...
I wish I had a waterproof camera.

We just couldn't resist. It was a beautiful day. Why not have dinner on the beach? However, the next day the Seawind rally group and others got together for a potluck on the beach. I forgot to bring the camera that evening.

Resident goats
Before we left, we bought a kilo of goat cheese.
We were running low on beer. In search for more cervezas. All we could find was a six pack of warm Tecate.
We were lucky to have found some beer. Apparently the next day,  the guy who sold us the beer ran out when we went back for more and all we could find was 5 Tecate light beer from a restaurant about a short distance away.
