The Beautiful Sea of Cortez

The Sea of Cortez is truly magnificent. Now I understand why people stay here than go to the Pacific side of Mexico. The water is so clear and much warmer than being on the Pacific ocean. Since we made our crossing from Mazatlan, we've been in the water, swimming and snorkeling. We haven't done much fishing because we still have a freezer full of mahi-mahi. We also discovered there are many scallops to harvest. We've had it ceviched, in pasta and seafood stew.

Pirate Duck
Funny how life is. I brought our pirate duckie on our hike unfortunately I dropped it and fell about 100 ft down. We weren't able to retrieve it.It was meant to be.
