Yelapa (Yeh-la-pa)

Yelapa is a remote fishing village 40 minutes by panga from Puerto Vallarta or 16 nautical miles from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. This was our last stop in Banderas bay. Our last stop before continuing on to Zihuatanejo. Where there modes of transportation through town is by burro, mule, ATV or feet.

The El Tuito river feeds into the bay.
Midnight sun at anchor in Yelapa

Soursop/guayabana- green prickly fruit and passion fruit - round fruits
An 8 minute walk through town
