Bienvenidos a Mazatlan

Lenard &I arrived in Mazatlan Friday, November 12th. There was good wind coming from the north when we were in Los Frailes and we took advantage of it. We sailed all night with speed from 5.5 - 10.2 knots per hour. However the wind petered out and we had 8 miles to go. We did not complain though. It was the best sail we've had since we left in June.

Our friend, Dino on Hadar had arrived a few days earlier. We anchored and launched our dinghy. We went over to is sailboat and he invited us for a drink to view the sunset. We could not pass up his offer.
We spent Thanksgiving in Mazatlan and we reunited with our friends Jim & Juanita. We were there for almost 2 weeks. Lots of sites to see and bars to explore. The Pacifico brewery tour was a must.

We finally mended the jib after 1500+ nautical miles.

Enjoying shade and some beer before going back to the boat.
