Cabo San Lucas - Turtle Bay - Punta Norte on Cedros Island

So we arrived in Cabo San Lucas a little after 2 pm the next day. The second tropical depression is now Hurricane Beatriz and category 1. We provisioned and checked in/out of Cabo San Lucas. We were hoping that this system would help us go north but it petered out. Our bash we have had no complaints. With overnights at Magdalena bay, San Hippolito, Bahia San Roque (Internet - good signal, tower is in Bahia Asuncion) and of course Turtle bay. Here we stayed for four days. We provisioned and waited for a good weather window.

Never will I do this again.
 Especially after having this drink.

And a few more with this rowdy crowd. Of course, you only live once, why not?
What you do in Cabo stays in Cabo!

When we arrived in Turtle bay, we met up with Wytie and Sally of Reality Check. Beforehand, we went ashore and took a nice long hot shower at El Veracruz hotel and restaurant (40 pesos each).

Here we also met Cindy & Faith of Carmen Miranda. They are coming back from a 12- year circumavigation.headed for the bay area.
Bob of Sceptre and his crew of 2 - Mike Rossi & Jeannette.

These guys are delivering a catamaran back to the bay area - Mike, Liz and Andrew. We had a get together on the boat, Tatajuba will soon be Niko. Fun group.

Lenard & Antonio - main objective was to give Antonio an American flag and show him the boat. We forgot to give him the flag. Antonio & Rogelio gave us a whale bone.
 Rogelio and baby girl.

Our favorite hangout for nice cold cervezas - Rogelio's Alley Way. If in Turtle bay, stop by, relax and have a few beers.

We left the next day Ensenada but anchored in Punta Norte on Cedros Island because swells and 10-15 knots of wind made it too uncomfortable to continue. While at anchor, I caught a nice size kelp bass and several wavyline grunts for dinner with rice and cucumber salad. I was in heaven...
